As part of its plan to evaluate opportunities in the natural resources sector, Boudeweel Public Affairs conducted a fact-finding mission in Abitibi-Témiscamingue from October 3 to October 6. The purpose of the trip was to meet regional influencers and gather information about the current and near-future state of significant mining projects in the region. We also met with local representatives of large Québec mining associations, as well as with regional local officials.
As our firm already has two important clients involved in natural resources projects and considering the prior experience of our CEO David Boudeweel-Lefebvre in the field, it is logical for us to explore this market. It also serves to reinforce our relationships in a region that is an economic powerhouse in the province, while benefiting current clients.
Our firm will now take the next few weeks to fully assess the business opportunity Abitibi-Témiscamingue could represent. We are also working to finalize a partnership with local interveners to provide the adequate business development support we will require.
Stay tuned!
